For the past three decades Kurt Wenner has created hundreds of original works of art amounting to thousands of square feet of paintings, murals, and decorative details for a wide variety of patrons. Wenner’s paintings dramatize open spaces and transform private homes and public buildings into works of art. After consultation, he creates a conceptual drawing appropriate to the setting and in accordance with the patron’s taste and passion. Wenner chooses materials and techniques that will complement their environment, enhancing and unifying its elements. For most of his creations, Wenner draws on themes from mythology, literature, music, and history. He enjoys conceiving of his works as if they were theatre productions by creating individual characters, original costumes and scenic designs. Combined with trompe l’oeil and perspective illusions, these original and timeless works of art will be enjoyed by many generations.
