+++ Kurt Wenner - Master Artist and Architect +++

For interior architecture Wenner combines paint and sculpted relief in a multi-dimensional approach, allowing rooms to be transformed into works of art. Many years of study in Italy have given him a special regard for the decorative arts; considered the highest form of artistic expression during the Renaissance. Wenner sees the decorative arts as a statement of optimism and exuberance, celebrating the richness and complexity of the physical world infused by the human spirit. Wenner pushes the limits of forms and materials using faux painting to blur the distinction between that which is flat and three-dimensional. He uses many new materials in original and inventive ways to create spaces that are simultaneously traditional and unconventional. His goal is to create interiors as works of art, which encompass the viewer and invite them to live within the painting.
