Some years ago I was asked to design a work for an Israeli telecommunications commercial that was to be shot in Santiago, Chile. After the work was complete, one of the executives insisted on a “more modern looking” city scene, so I needed to create a whole second piece. I used the first design in the little town in Italy where we were living for the festival of Corpus Christie, and got the following photograph:
An actor looking like a handsome version of the young “me” did the part of the pavement artist. The second work that was used for the commercial can be seen below:
